Situated one minute from Dundee’s High Street in historic Exchange Street, The Cheesery is Dundee’s award-winning independent specialist cheese shop.

           

Selling quality Regional and Continental artisan cheeses, we hope to offer our customers new cheeses to try on a weekly basis. Favourites include fantastic farmhouse mature Cheddars, deliciously indulgent Gorgonzola dulce, creamy Highland cheeses and award-winning Brie de Meaux Donge.

To accompany your selection of cheese we also have top quality olives, chutneys, savoury jams and jellies as well as a multitude of oatcakes and biscuits.



As well as tasting good, we like our cheese to look good - so we also stock a lovely selection of cheese-related kitchenware and utensils, including hand carved cheese and breadboards, cheese domes and platters. We also stock a beautiful selection of glazed earthenware from St. Andrews Pottery.

 We now offer a tailor-made hamper service. This would normally consist of a selection of quality items from our current       range (oils, flavoured vinegar, oatcakes, chutney, etc) to which can be added an assortment of different types of cheese.        Alternatively, you could opt to include one of our Vouchers and let the recipient choose their own cheese. Welcome to our product range from el olivo, an exclusive selection of the finest olive oils from Spain.
Sourced by Maria Cumming Panadero who is committed to sharing her passion for delicious, high quality olive oils from her homeland. She takes great care to seek out small, family firms from the most remote corners of Spain, where the passion for taste and quality reflects the el olivo ethos. Providing a choice of both organic and non organic oils we can ensure that there is a delicious olive oil for you whatever your taste and preference.

                                                     THE CHEESERY GIFT VOUCHERS

We now offer a selection of Gift Vouchers for those people who really love their cheese! Why not give them something completely different next time? Vouchers can be in any denomination and are available at the shop any time.

     WEDDING CHEESE CAKES

For those couples who would prefer something a little bit different for their wedding cake, why not consider a cake made up of various different types of cheese!  You could have a wheel of Isle of Mull Cheddar on the bottom, followed by a Cornish Yarg, followed by a Colston Bassett Blue Stilton and topped off with a creamy Camembert or a heart shaped Brie.  The possibilities are extensive.  More details available on request.                                                        


                                                              WE MUST BE CRACKERS

We appear to have accumulated quite a range of stuff for you to put your cheese on….There are Oval Alberts,                   Adamson’s Pittenweem Oatcakes, McKenzie Oatcakes, Cheese Oatcakes, Miller Damsels (various flavours), Glencarse Oat Crumblies,Barrie Bannocks and lovely Spanish Olive Oil Crackers.           Made with a delicious Belgian Plain Chocolate (60% cocoa) and a blend of South Devon Chilli Farm chillies. The combination of chocolate and chillies has been popular in South America and Mexico since the Mayans and Aztecs, and we agree that they go together superbly. A real favourite with our customers!!!
